Sen Restaurant in Norderney

Had different orders and yet ea looked very similar. The base sauce was unfortunately the same. The meat (duck) was rather greasy and, in conclusion, too expensive for what you got in quality. Too bad.

The food was delicious, but that's about it. The meat portion of my meat dish was very clear. If you want more meat than vegetables in a meat dish, you have to say that beforehand! The food came quickly, but the next table, which was occupied 30 minutes before us, was still waiting for the starter when we were already at the main course. But we had the drinks from the next table on the bill. The next table was only half a meter from the corona.

This review relates to the SERVICE: After we had reserved a table in time for the evening and arrived on time, we were seated at a side table at the entrance. (The reservation was probably uninteresting anyway, as we weren't even asked about it.) When we then politely asked whether it would be possible to get another table, we were approached extremely unfriendly. We would have waited a bit, but we weren't offered that. Instead, we were given unmistakably to understand that we should kindly agree to the improvised table (next to the open entrance door, halfway in the middle of the passage and waiting guests - by the way: Corona sends its regards -). Another employee tried to offer us another table, but that was prevented by her colleague / owner (?). We then left. Will definitely not be back.

Some dishes are okay, but others are bland and boring. So on average only mediocre. The service is quite nice.

Brilliant! Since 2018, the SEN, just off the Marien Höhe, has become a "must eat" for us on the island. In addition to lovingly prepared Vietnamese cuisine, delicious juices and a beautiful ambience, the restaurant shines with really warm hospitality. We will be back.

Usually we are very happy with SEN, but today we are absolutely horror. Had a table for two for 6pm already reserved days in advance. WHEN we arrived punctually at this time, we were assigned one of two tables directly at another table. Minimum distance, corona rules what is that. The restaurant was totally overcrowded. I ask myself in all seriousness where is the regulatory office on the beautiful island of Norderney which otherwise (in JUNE 2020) controls so drastically. So watch out if you go to the SEN, too crowded, and bye.

Everything is just right here and the quality is great! Yes, the POOR waitresses may be a bit overwhelmed, but they make up for EVERYTHING with their friendliness and service! But it's no wonder either! The shop is very popular, today there was a queue with 20 people, who sometimes waited 45 minutes. I think the kitchen is quite small, so it's not easy for the chefs! If you don't understand this and then give it less than 4 stars, you should just eat pizza, the Sen is an absolute hit!

The "Chinese" so often described here is a Vietnamese by the way. Food very tasty and inexpensive. No cheap cutlery and attention to detail in the table decoration. Very friendly. E.g. Unsolicited, asked whether you still want rice and whether everything tastes good. Payment in cash, EC, credit card and ApplePay was possible. A ray of hope with the multitude of fish and Italian restaurants on Norderney.

I am very impressed with this Asian restorante and recommend eating out there. I ate here for the first time and I have to say I've never eaten better Asian food. Prices match the great quality and taste of the food. I am also impressed by the lovely staff at SEN and look forward to dining there again soon. In addition, the ambience is very good and there are no unnecessary decorations. Really a very nice Asian Rastorante.

We ate delicious food here. However, we would only recommend ordering what is on the menu, because the staff doesn't speak good German and there were often problems of understanding, also at the next table.

A pleasant and nicely decorated restaurant offering a variety of Asian dishes and sushi. We decided on different sushi variants, all of which tasted fresh and very tasty. They were also served in an appealing and appetizing manner on the plate. The prices for the food and drinks are - as everywhere on Norderney - a bit higher, but it tasted good for us. Although the service was friendly and attentive, we sometimes had to wait a little longer for our orders and payment. Although that was not dramatic, it somewhat clouded the overall good impression. But we would still come here to eat again and can recommend the SEN.

Delicious food, also for vegans to find something (not shown, but declared vegetarian). Very nice and friendly service.

We ate very tasty. Certainly a bit unconventional service but overall very warm. Guests with dogs are very welcome.

The food is fantastic and the service is very friendly. We were brought a wrong starter but we got the right one right away and apologize. Sen is always worth a visit. We would love to come back
